Jane Turner

Looking for a career change, former journalist, Jane Turner, undertook the Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) at TasTAFE. She says the great teachers, and hands-on practical nature of the course are great preparation for anyone wanting to work in the growing aged care industry.

Following a work placement at Mary Ogilvy Homes during the course, Jane was offered a job with the organisation and now works as an extended care assistant and also helps out in the physiotherapy department..
