Are you ready to start your international student journey?

At TasTAFE, we want to make your application process as seamless as possible, so you can focus on the exciting move to Tasmania.

You have the option to apply for TasTAFE international programs and manage your application by yourself. Alternatively, you may seek assistance from a TasTAFE Approved Education Agent in your region.

Here is our step-by-step guide on how to apply to study at TasTAFE.

1. Choose your course, intake and location - Read through the course information, pick a preferred course, intake and campus, and understand the entry requirements.
2. Prepare your application and documentation - Contact TasTAFE International at international@tastafe.tas.edu.au or consult with a TasTAFE Approved Education Agent to prepare your application. To submit your application without the assistance of an Approved Education Agent, please complete all sections of the online student application and upload the required documents.
3. Receive your application outcome - Our International Admissions Team will assess your application and inform you of the outcome. The more complete your initial application is, the more quickly we will be able to provide you with an outcome. If successful, you will receive a TasTAFE Letter of Offer.
4. Accept and pay your acceptance fee - Return your signed Acceptance Form and make the initial acceptance fee payment as shown on your Letter of Offer.
5. Receive your Confirmation of Enrolment Letters (CoEs) - TasTAFE International will issue a Confirmation of Enrolment Letters (CoEs) required to apply for your student visa.
6. Lodge your Student Visa Application -  Apply to the Department of Home Affairs for a student visa and get ready to start your new adventure to Tasmania.
