Once you have decided what course is right for you, you’ll need to begin the application process.
For some courses – like short courses and skill sets – the application process is very straightforward and will only take a few minutes to complete your details.
Other courses will need you to provide documentation and/or evidence that you can satisfy the entry requirements of your chosen course. These might be results from your previous qualification, or a police check or proof that you hold a specific licence.
When you apply for a course, you will be asked to:
- provide your COVID-19 Digital Certificate or Immunisation History Statement (your COVID-19 vaccination evidence) to confirm you are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or hold a valid medical exemption.
Your COVID-19 vaccination evidence will be required by TasTAFE prior to your course commencement and before you attend any TasTAFE campus or training facility in 2022. Please follow these instructions for details of evidence needed and How to provide your COVID-19 Vaccination Evidence (Word).
You may also be asked to:
- provide evidence that you meet the educational requirements of the course (i.e. provide a copy of your previous qualification, proof of your work skills, or language literacy and numeracy ability)
- support your claim for recognition (i.e. provide certified copies of your previous qualifications and/or other evidence)
- support your claim for a fee concession by providing relevant documentation (i.e. a Health Care Card).
