TasTAFE Trade Excellence Awards
In late October and early November 2024, TasTAFE celebrated the achievements of our learners at the inaugural TasTAFE Trade Excellence Awards, with presentation ceremonies in Devonport, Launceston and Hobart.
From construction and plumbing to hairdressing and horticulture, the awards recognised apprentices, trainees and workplace-based learners who demonstrated outstanding commitment and excellence in their TasTAFE training – bringing them together to celebrate with their families, friends and colleagues.
Our 57 winners were nominated by their TasTAFE teachers, selected from a pool of 8000 potential candidates.
The awards were also an opportunity to thank employers for their support, and to recognise the strong partnerships we have with industry groups and the wider Tasmanian community.
