If you love great Tasmanian food, wine and service at an affordable price, it’s time you make a date with one of our Drysdale restaurants. Sit back and enjoy a delicious dining experience as our hospitality students and apprentice chefs prepare and serve a range of high-quality food and beverages.
As a patron, you’ll be an important part of the learning experience as the next generation of Tasmania’s qualified service personnel gain hands-on training under the supervision of our professional teaching staff. It’s a unique way to experience Tasmania’s booming hospitality and tourism industries and support to our up-and-coming hospitality professionals and regional producers.
As a student, you’ll get invaluable experience working on the floor or in a commercial kitchen. You’ll get the chance to think on your feet and communicate with your team, as well as gain the hands-on skills you need to provide a high-quality experience for your patrons.
Reservations for group bookings are recommended and pre-ordering is available if you’re short on time.
Each of our restaurants take bookings for special events and are available for private hire.
Please note our restaurants only accept payments by card.
Drysdale South Restaurant will re-open on Thursday 14 March for lunch and dinner every Thursday, and for lunch every Friday.
Our Launceston restaurant is at 93 Paterson Street, Launceston. It’s also available for private hire for events.
The restaurant is currently closed and a re-opening date will be advised soon.
Located at 20 Valley Road, Devonport, the restaurant is open to the public on select days. Bookings are essential.
