Are you looking for skills and knowledge to facilitate and conduct work-skill instruction whilst delivering nationally recognised training? Do you need to know more about the vocational training sector in Australia to apply for a Teacher under Supervision role? This course is for you!

This skill set is a great introduction to vocational training if you are thinking you might like to enter the profession, or if you are currently working in an enterprise training role and are looking for a career pathway into the vocational education and training (VET) sector as a trainer.

This program is currently free of charge.

Through the course, you will learn how to demonstrate work skills to individuals and small groups, as well as how to tailor learning to a target audience using your digital and communication skills to present a range of concepts and ideas. On successful completion of this course, you will have developed your knowledge of the VET sector and be equipped to provide great work skill instruction.

The skill set covered in this course is derived from units of competency within the broader TAE40122 qualification and provides an insight into the full qualification. Successful completion of these units can be used towards the full qualification.

The amount of training provided is only a portion of the overall learning requirement and you are expected to complete additional learning/activities and assessments to complete the program.
