If you’re passionate about shaping young lives and making a real difference, now is the perfect time to start your journey. Skilled Early Childhood Educators are in demand, and this nationally recognised qualification through TasTAFE will set you up with the skills and confidence to step into an entry-level role.
You’ll learn how to provide quality education and care for children from birth to five years, guided by expert teachers who bring real-world experience into the classroom. Our course is designed around the National Quality Framework, giving you practical skills to support children’s learning, wellbeing, and development through play-based programs in safe and nurturing environments.
Our experienced teachers will guide you to:
- Implement the National Quality Framework and approved learning frameworks.
- Plan and deliver engaging programs that support children’s wellbeing, learning, and development.
- Maintain children’s health and safety, including completing a First Aid qualification.
- Identify and respond to children and young people at risk.
- Build cultural competence and foster understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures.
- Work ethically and legally in line with sector standards.
With hands-on training and expert guidance, you’ll gain the confidence and skills to make a real difference in the lives of children and families.
