Expand your automotive skill set and gain an automotive air-conditioning license.

This course provides training for trade specialists working within the automotive industry without using an apprenticeship pathway, who are seeking an Australian Refrigeration Council (ARC) licence to service and repair automotive air conditioning systems.

The course is designed to give you the skills and knowledge you need to service and repair air conditioning components and systems of cars and heavy commercial vehicles in an automotive service and repair environment.

Course participants must be trade qualified technicians from one of the following industries:

  • Automotive
  • Mining
  • Engineering
  • Electrical

On successful completion of this course, you will have the skills you need to work on air conditioning equipment in light, heavy and commercial vehicles, and apply for a range of roles such as Automotive Air Conditioning Technician. You will also be able to apply for your Automotive Refrigerant Handling Licence from the Australian Refrigeration Council.
