Learn how to successfully operate an elevated work platform/scissor lift specific to your worksite.
This short course provides duty of care training to help you to comply with the Workplace Health and Safety Act 2012, and will give you the skills you need to provide a safer working environment for all employees and contractors operating elevated work platform/scissor lift.
In this course, you will gain theoretical knowledge and a range of practical skills in hazard identification, risk assessment and controls, and identifying safe operating parameters using data plate and manuals.
You’ll also learn how to conduct pre- and post- operational checks, operate an elevated work platform/scissor lift, and cover off on emergency procedures.
On successful completion of this short course, you will receive a Statement of Attainment for the units completed and a TasTAFE competency card acknowledging your ability to appropriately operate elevated work platforms/scissor lift.
