Congratulations to TasTAFE trained glazing apprentice Bailey Jordan who was named Tasmanian Apprentice of the Year at the Australian Glass and Window Association’s (AGWA) state awards on Friday night.

Bailey works at GP Glass and does his training with our glazing teachers at the Clarence Campus.

He will now progress to the national competition, travelling to Queensland in late-August to compete in a practical assessment to determine the national apprentice of the year.

Three other TasTAFE -trained glazing apprentices also enjoyed success at the awards:

  • Cooper Wilson - Clearview Windows – Rising Star Apprentice
  • Angus Fisher - ALFAB GLASS & ALUMINIUM – Residential Apprentice of the Year
  • Ellenor Hall – GP Glass – Rising Star Apprentice runner up

Well done to Bailey, Cooper, Angus and Ellenor.
