This two day short course, held at our specialist hospitality and tourism facility, Drysdale, is an introduction to espresso coffee making and will provide you with the basic skills and knowledge you need to make awesome espresso.

Essential for anyone who wishes to make a start in the café industry, this short course will provide you with the hands-on skills and knowledge-based learning to be job-ready and offers a combination of practical, hands-on skills and knowledge-based learning.

In this course, you will learn how to extract expresso, texture milk and practice your technique in making espresso drinks, as well as how to safely operate and clean the espresso machine and grinder.

On successful completion of this short course you will have gained the skills and knowledge you need to seek employment in a wide range of hospitality businesses, and receive a Statement of Attendance for units successfully completed. You might also like to further your tourism and hospitality career and consider enrolling in SIT30616 – Certificate III in Hospitality.
