Master the essentials of metal fabrication and safe work practices in our comprehensive training program

This practical, workshop-based course is designed to introduce participants to fundamental metal fabrication skills. Learners will gain hands-on experience performing basic marking out and completing essential fabrication projects, while developing safe work practices critical to the metals and manufacturing industry. With a strong focus on real-world application, the course equips participants with the foundational skills required for further training or entry-level roles in the field.

This course is delivered face-to-face over a six-week period, with classes held on Wednesday evenings from 5:30pm to 9:00pm. It offers an excellent opportunity for those seeking to explore a career in engineering or metal fabrication in a supportive and industry-aligned environment. Participants will receive a Statement of Attendance upon completion.

Successful completion of this course may also provide a pathway into further qualifications, including MEM20422 - Certificate II in Engineering Pathways and MEM31922 - Certificate III in Engineering (Fabrication Trade), opening up more advanced training and career opportunities within the engineering and fabrication sectors.
