Lodgement of legal documents

TasTAFE is sometimes served with subpoenas and other similar court or tribunal-issued documents. Legal documents include letters, requests from lawyers and legal firms, court orders or subpoenas.  These legal documents can be lodged with TasTAFE by post, or by email.

Note: Requests to Right to Information (RTI) requires the lodgement of an Application of Assessed Disclosure Form.

Follow these steps to lodge your legal documents with TasTAFE. Please follow the instructions carefully to ensure your submission is received and processed correctly:

By Email:

  1. Prepare your documents and ensure they are delivered in a PDF format.
  2. Scanned images should be clearly legible and in black and white where possible, with a resolution of 200-300 dpi.
  3. Review all details before lodging your final submission and clearly name the file or change the internal metadata title of the document using Adobe Acrobat.
  4. Open a new email, address it to ceo@tafe.tas.edu.au, attach your files, and press send.
  5. Documents received before 4:30pm on a business day are generally considered filed on that same day. Submissions after 4:30pm or on a non-business day will be taken as filed on the next business day.
  6. You will receive an email confirmation within 3 working days.
