Partnership Opportunities with TasTAFE

Tender for Student Support Services (25 July – 14 August 14 2015)

TasTAFE is a large organisation with 700 staff and supports more than 30,000 individuals to achieve success in their training. Formed in 2013, TasTAFE is Tasmania’s largest public sector provider of vocational education and training. TasTAFE is one of the 10 largest RTOs in Australia, and is a stable, state-owned asset.

Through this tender TasTAFE is seeking to establish a Panel of Approved Providers to assist students during their learning pathway. Services provided, will be complementary to those provided by TasTAFE’s internal Student Support team. Providers will offer specific specialist support services to enhance student engagement, retention and success in Vocational Education and Training (VET).

Subject to negotiation services can be provided across Tasmania, at specific locations.

Working with TasTAFE

TasTAFE wishes to partner with providers who can deliver one or more of the following services:

  • Specialist support services for students with Autism
  • Specific information for students (online resources)
  • Assistive technology – advice and training
  • Mental health support and education
  • Suicide prevention education
  • Youth support
  • Rural and Remote Students outreach
  • Liaison between student & specialist support services

Successful applicants will be registered on TasTAFE’s Panel of Approved Providers. Across the next three years TasTAFE may engage with any of the preferred providers and, by negotiation, issue a work order for services described in their tender submission.
