More than 750 Year 9 students got a taste of future career options on Friday (9 August) when we hosted Creating My Career at TasTAFE’s Clarence Campus.

Our teachers, plus teachers from the University of Tasmania and industry representatives shared their skills and knowledge across 17 cluster areas including construction, hair and beauty, IT,  engineering, early childhood, hospitality, IT and business, plus a range of other areas.

Similar events have also been held in Burnie and Launceston this year to get students thinking about future study and career options.

Creating My Career is a partnership between TasTAFE, the University of Tasmania, the Department of Education and Beacon Foundation with support from Rotary Tasmania.
