The Carers Australia Young Carers Bursary applications are now open. Each Bursary is $3,000 and can be spent on assistance with education and training.
The bursary is open to students who:
- are currently studying or training, or will be in 2019
- provide care and support to a family member or friend with an illness, disability, mental health illness, is frail, aged or has an alcohol or other drug problem
- will be aged 12 – 25 in 2019
- are Australian citizens or permanent residents.
