IMPORTANT VET FEE-HELP ANNOUNCEMENT
On 5 October 2016 the Federal Government announced that, subject to the passage of legislation, VET FEE-HELP would be replaced on 1 January 2017.
The new scheme, known as VET Student Loans, provides a similar opportunity for eligible students to defer their tuition fees when studying diploma and advanced diploma qualifications.
VET Student Loans differs from VET FEE-HELP in that loans are capped by qualification, and only certain qualifications are available. The full list of qualifications available, and how much you can borrow against each, is available on the VET Student Loans page.
Where VET Student Loans is not available for a qualification, TasTAFE will offer instalment plans to assist with repayment of tuition fees.
Students who enrolled in VET FEE-HELP on or before 31 Dec 2016 can remain on that scheme until 31 December 2017.
Please refer to the fee schedule for 2017 fees.
