If you are an adult learner and planning to commence, return to or continue your study, TasTAFE provides a wide range of part-time and full-time training courses to suit your needs and personal circumstances.
TasTAFE is open all year-round, with a range of courses starting at different times so you can access the kind of learning you need, when you need it. With flexible and online delivery options, as well as some evening classes, you can find a course that fits your learning around your work, family and other commitments.
So, whether you want a course to fill a skill gap, are embarking on an apprenticeship, have a longer-term plan to reach certificate or diploma level, or you want to gain credit into a university course, TasTAFE can help.
If you haven’t undertaken any study for a while, don’t worry! We have plenty of support available to help you make the most of your time at TasTAFE and to maximise your educational outcomes.
Teachers will be like coaches, working alongside you to fill in any gaps and help things run smoothly. One of their roles will be to help you develop a Learning Plan for successful outcomes and to help you monitor your progress.
One of your teachers will also be your contact person for advice on accessing additional support. If you need extra help, just ask!
Your initial orientation program will show you how to access all the support services you might need to succeed with your course.
More information about the support services offered at TasTAFE is available from the student support page.
