Learn the skills to support those around you affected by alcohol and other drugs (AOD) and mental health issues.
In this short course you will learn how to establish and work within the current context, philosophy and values of the AOD sector. You will also learn how to establish relationships, clarify needs, and work collaboratively with people who are living with mental health issues.
If you are already working within the community services industry, this short course will enable you to upskill or update your current practices.
This skill set is delivered fully online for up to three months in a combination of virtual classes and self-directed learning comprising 20-23 hours a week.
This short course provides credit towards CHC42015 Certificate IV in Community Services.

This a blended online skill set. Students will be required to attend online classes on a Friday from 9.30am to 12.30pm and complete self-directed learning on TasTAFE eLearning platform canvas.
