Are you organised and a good time manager? Do you enjoy working with people? This skill set could kickstart your career in the events industry.

You will be introduced to the entry-level requirements needed to deliver memorable events and functions. You will learn how to source information on the events industry, book suppliers and stage an event.

This skill set applies to a variety of event types in sectors such as tourism, hospitality, sport and community. It will provide strong practical skills relevant to working in event management companies, event venues or in businesses that organise their own events.

This skill set is suited for those looking to start a career in event coordination. It is also for those who want to increase their knowledge of event organisation.

This skill set runs for 3 weeks and takes about 30 hours a week, with 18 hours on-campus in class and 12 hours for study and online meetings.
