Are you a people person who loves Tasmania’s incredible attractions? Gain the skills to work in a tourism customer service role with our Visitor Experience course!

In this beginner course, you’ll gain skills to help visitors to our island state who may be on day trips, visiting an attraction, or want to know some general history of the area. You’ll build on your natural people skills by learning how to respond to visitor requests for information and helping them make the most of their visit!

This course will also help you gain the confidence to present information to a group of people using basic group communication methods. You will learn how to enhance the participant’s experience using particular presentation techniques. Importantly, this course will also teach you the skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response to a casualty in a range of situations.

This course will help you gain the skills and knowledge you need to be able to seek employment in a customer service role in the tourism industry and conduct short tours at local tourist attractions, such as vineyards, cultural centres, museums and more!

On successful completion of this course, you will receive a Statement of Attainment for the units completed.
