Are you working in the agricultural industry on a farm, processing plant or harvesting crew? Are you ready to step up and take a lead role? This course will give you the skills to lead and coach a team of agri-workers. You’ll learn how to match tasks to workers, coordinate and assign duties to get the job done! You’ll gain skills in building relationships, managing conflict and negotiating.
In this course you will also develop the knowledge and skills to support workers by identifying training needs and learning opportunities in the workplace. You’ll learn how to support on-the-job training and provide coaching and feedback to workers. If you are ready to step-up to lead – this course is for you!
This course is delivered over 8 weeks and involves 3 days of face to face training on campus, 3 days of online learning along with undertaking workplace activities.
On successful completion of this course, you will receive a Statement of Attainment for the units completed.
