Hello and welcome… are you checking in? The Hospitality and Tourism industry need people like you who are friendly, organised and great communicators.

If you love interacting with people daily and want to work in a fast-paced environment, then a career in the Tourism and Hospitality industry is perfect for you!

Careers in this industry are dynamic, with employers looking for staff who are professional, organised, able to multitask and communicate clearly.

In this course, you will gain the skills and knowledge you need to seek employment in an entry level role in a hotel as a Front Office Receptionist. You will learn how to manage reservations, check daily arrivals, allocate accommodation rooms and complete relevant check in documentation.

You will also learn how to use an online booking system, determine the availability of accommodation, and offer alternatives, as well as accurately record the reservation details and administer the reservation through to finalisation.

This course is delivered over a 3-week period and involves online learning as well as 10 days of practical activities on campus. On successful completion of this course, you will receive a Statement of Attainment for the units completed.
