This eight-week short course will provide you with the hands-on skills and knowledge-based learning you need to be job-ready for a range of entry level roles in the Hospitality industry.

In this course, you will gain practical skills and experience in food and beverage service and espresso training.

You’ll learn how to operate a bar, serve food and beverages and prepare and serve expresso coffee. You will also learn how to interact confidently with customers and use hygienic practices for food safety.

You will also put your newly acquired skills and knowledge into practice, by completing 5 weeks of in-house service shifts in the Drysdale Restaurant. This will be during the last 5 weeks of your course.

In order to undertake this course, you will need to hold your Responsible Service of Alcohol OR undertake this unit in addition to this course.

On successful completion of this course, you will receive a Statement of Attainment for the units successfully completed, and be ready to seek entry level roles in cafes, bars, hotel banquets and restaurants.
