If you like the thrill of working in a dynamic environment and want to be a part of one of the fastest growing industries in Tasmania… check out Drysdale’s Hospitality Essentials!
This eight-week short course will provide you with the hands-on skills and knowledge-based learning you need to be job-ready for a range of entry level roles in the Hospitality industry.
In this course, you will gain practical skills and experience in food and beverage service and espresso training.
You’ll learn how to operate a bar, serve food and beverages and prepare and service espresso coffee. You’ll also learn how to interact confidently with customers, provide responsible service of alcohol and gambling services, and use hygienic practices for food safety.
You’ll also have the opportunity to undertake a two-week work placement and apply your newly gained skills and knowledge in a busy hospitality workplace.
On successful completion of this course, you will receive a Statement of Attainment for the units successfully completed, and be ready to seek entry level roles in cafes, bars, hotel banquets and restaurants. You may also be interested in taking the next step in your tourism and hospitality career, and consider undertaking SIT20316 – Certificate II in Hospitality.
