Important steps for this course
Before you apply for the course you are interested in, we want to make sure you have the right skills and support available to be successful in your course. We ask that you complete TasTAFEs literacy and numeracy skills review. It is called the Basic Key Skills Builder (bksb). This skills review will help our staff advise you on the program you are applying for or to provide you guidance on a pathway to this or another qualification. All students must complete the bksb before enrolment can be completed.
Your bksb login details will be sent within 2 business days of applying. It takes about 30 to 60 minutes for each section and is best completed on a computer or tablet rather than your phone. A calculator can be used for the numeracy section.
If you need additional support, or you don’t have access to a computer, please contact us on 1300 655 307 for assistance.
