Short Courses Sewing for Beginners

Begin your fashion venture at the Applied Fashion Design studio at TasTAFE.  A wonderful opportunity to learn from experienced teachers who will guide you through an introductory course in pattern making and basic sewing.  You will develop professional techniques on domestic machines and learn how to adapt patterns to create new styles. Join in and make quality fashion projects.

This course covers:

  1. The design and production of clothing
  2. Drafting of patterns
  3. Developing industry standard techniques

Pattern paper and calico is supplied.
