Gain the practical skills you need to succeed in the Print Communications industry.

This nationally recognised qualification is ideal if you are working as an apprentice in a digital design and output environment, or if you are currently working in a digital design hub or as a marketer or brand developer seeking a formal qualification.

In this course, you will gain the skills and knowledge you need to work as a pre-media tradesperson. You will learn how to design and prepare layouts and artwork, manipulate images and text to meet production and design requirements, and apply solutions to a range of problems associated with the print medium.

Throughout the course, you will acquire a broad range of accredited and industry relevant skills using the latest industry-specific graphics software such as InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat Pro. You will also develop valuable entry-level industry-specific skills that include participating in environmentally sustainable work practices, inspecting quality against required standards and effectively communicating with others in the workplace.

On successful completion of this course, you will have gained a broad range of industry-relevant print communication skills that will equip you to seek employment in entry-level roles across a number of industries including music, retail, fashion and interior design or live theatre and events.
