This qualification will provide you with the skills and experience you need to begin your career as a qualified Baker.
In this course, you’ll learn a wide range of bread making skills and gain a sound knowledge of kitchen operations to produce high quality – and delicious! – bread, cake and pastry products.
You'll develop the essential skills you need to produce basic bread products, and gain experience in undertaking routine baking, customer service and general preparation and cleaning skills.
You’ll also learn how to maintain ingredient stores, use food preparation equipment to prepare fillings and participate in relevant work health and safety practices in the commercial kitchen context.
On successful completion of this course, you will have the skills you need to begin your career as a trade assistant working in the retail baking environment.
