This qualification is designed to allow you to expand your existing skills and knowledge of the media industry by establishing networks, managing projects and taking part in media production.
In this course, you will focus on developing higher level skills essential to the crafts of script writing, video production and post production, as well as the essential technical skills needed for camera work, sound, lighting and editing.
Throughout the course, you will learn how to develop concepts, establish and maintain safe creative practices, and develop your own projects, as well as apply creative arts industry knowledge to the diverse industry of screen and media.
You will also have the opportunity to specialise as a producer, production manager, animation or visual effects designer, presenter or director of photography.
On successful completion of this course, you will be well prepared to seek employment within the Screen and Media industry in areas as diverse as production management and marketing, directing, freelance production or technical engineering. You may also like to continue your studies in film or broadcast media and related disciplines at university.
