Work Placements, Licensing and Other Requirements

You must have access to a workplace where you can undertake training and assessment within your vocational area, including being able to access training and assessment policies and procedures.

Desirable Skills and Attributes

Effective language, communication, interpersonal and digital literacy skills ae required for successful completion of this program. These skills will be used to complete the following guided tasks as part of your study:

TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment

Qualification Requirements

To achieve TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, 10 units must be completed consisting of 9 core units and 1 elective unit. There are no prerequisite units. For those who have TAE40110, you will receive a minimum of 6 Credits due to units being deemed equivalent leaving 2 new core units to complete and a further 2 core units which are not deemed equivalent units and require gap training and assessment.

Also, for those who have achieved the TAELLN411 or TAEASS502A/B unit, these are core units in the TAE40116 and will receive credit.
