HLT37015 Certificate III in Sterilisation Services

This qualification is for individuals working in instrument sterilising roles in a sterilising service or reprocessing area.  This course will contribute to the development of knowledge and skills required to comply with national standards for sterilising services, work safely, contribute to team outcomes and communicate in the modern workplace.

Career Opportunities

Employment in sterilising services occurs in both acute care settings and surgical day services. Completing this qualification provides an important grounding in the critical skills required to ensure services meet mandated national standards.

Assessment Process

Participants must successfully complete all assessment tasks to meet the requirements of the course. Assessment includes workplace-based assessments, self-paced learning packages,  participation in study groups and presentations, and written assessments/project work.
