This course is designed to give adults greater skills and confidence to seek work or to engage in further training.   You will learn:

  • Skills for learning and study
  • How to explore and engage in work and training opportunities
  • Career planning
  • Soft skills for work such as team work, critical thinking, problem solving and managing conflict
  • Workplace communication, reading, formal writing and presentations, and numeracy

Qualification Requirements

To achieve a Certificate II in Career Preparation, 18 units must be successfully completed.  Electives are selected based on industry and/or employer consultation.
