CPCCBC4051A Supervise Asbestos Removal
This course enables participants to develop the skills and knowledge required to supervise the removal process for friable and non-friable asbestos containing materials (ACM), ensuring compliance with the asbestos removal control plan. This includes ensuring that required air monitoring and other testing and certification processes are conducted.
Participants will learn to:
- Plan for asbestos removal
- Prepare asbestos removal area and removal site
- Supervise testing and compliance of the removal work
- Supervise removal and decontamination processes
- Supervise and support team members

Fees and Payments
2019: $560 per person. A concession rate is not available for this course.
Course prices for single employer groups are negotiable.
What will I need to bring?
You must wear workshop clothing and safety shoes/boots. Disposable overalls and respirators are provided.
You must have completed either ‘Remove Friable Asbestos’ OR Remove Non-Friable Asbestos’ before you can attend ‘Supervise Asbestos Removal’.
You must have a White Card, ‘CPCCOHS1001A – Work safely in the construction industry’ prior to commencing this course.
