CPCCDE3014A Removal non-friable asbestos
This course enables participants to develop the skills and knowledge required to isolate a site, safely remove, and dispose of non-friable asbestos-containing materials, whilst adhering to regulations and procedures for personal and site decontamination as described in the: How to Safely Remove Asbestos, Code of Practice 2011.
Assessment will include a practical simulation of non-friable asbestos removal and a written assignment regarding asbestos removal control plans.
Participants will learn to:
- Prepare for asbestos removal
- Prepare asbestos removal area and removal site
- Isolate removal site
- Carry out the removal of non-friable asbestos
- Carry out decontamination process
- Clean up work site
- Contribute to and use documentation in line with regulatory requirements

Fees and Payments
2020: $500 per person. A concession rate is not available for this course.
Course prices for single employer groups are negotiable.
You must have a White Card – CPCCOHS1001A – Work safely in the construction industry, prior to commencing this course.
Please bring a copy of your Statement of Attainment for your White Card with you to the course.
You must wear workshop clothing and safety shoes/boots. Disposable overalls & respirators provided.
