Are you an employer of apprentices in Construction and Allied Trades?  Are you thinking of employing an apprentice in the future? Just want to see what our training is all about?

WHEN: 1pm-4pm, Wednesday 26 July

WHERE: F Block, Construction and Allied Trades Workshops

TasTAFE Clarence Campus

4a Bounty Street, Warrane

Workshop tours at 1.15pm, 2.15pm and 3.15pm.

TasTAFE, in partnership with Clennett’s Mitre 10, invites you to come along and see the next generation of Tasmanian builders in action, talk to industry representatives and check out the latest products from a range of Clennett’s suppliers.

Led by teachers with backgrounds in industry, we train apprentices and pre-vocational students in Carpentry and Joinery, Concreting, Painting, Plastering, Glazing, Flooring, Bricklaying and Tiling.

This is a great opportunity to have a first-hand look at our training and have a chat to our friendly staff about your current and future training needs.

We’ll also be showcasing our innovative  My Profiling system which enables the tracking of both on and off the job progress for apprentices through three-way electronic communication between employers, TasTAFE teachers and apprentices.

There will also be representatives from industry groups including:

  • Tasmanian Building and Construction Industry Training Board
  • Tasmanian Building Group Apprenticeship Scheme
  • Work & Training
  • Workskills

Trades stalls from Clennett’s Mitre 10 suppliers including:

  • Makita
  • Paslode
  • Dewalt
  • Bosch
