Designed in partnership with the hospitality industry in Tasmania, this new course is centered around the Great Chefs Series – an event that invites some of the world’s great culinary superstars into the Drysdale classroom to mentor and cook beside students throughout the teaching year. Very few cookery students receive such a valuable, practical experience of working side-by-side with high caliber chefs such as Mark Best and Tetsuya Wakuda (to name but two!).
We’ve also partnered with some of Tasmania’s best restaurants and hotels to provide successful applicants with a direct and supported pathway into employment. That’s right – you’ll be guaranteed employment as an apprentice with one of our business partners on successful completion of stage 1 of this course.
