Alanvale Campus
About
TasTAFE’s Alanvale Campus is our largest northern campus and is located in spacious and leafy surroundings in the Launceston suburb of Newnham.
At Alanvale you’ll find an impressive range of traditional trades areas including specialist Automotive, Construction, Metals and Electrotechnology workshops, as well as Horticulture training spaces that include gardens, a propagation nursery and our very own vineyard!
Alanvale Campus also offers training in a number of other areas, and has a simulated Child Care Centre as part of our Children’s Services training, modern Hair and Beauty facilities – including a salon that is open to the public – and a fully equipped music and sound production recording studio.
With a friendly, student-focussed environment, Alanvale has wide range of onsite student services, and a Client Services office where you can pay your fees, get your student ID card and make an appointment with one of our counsellors or student advisors. Lady Gowrie Child Care Centre (next door to Alanvale Campus) also offers child care services from Monday to Friday.
